Development Centres
Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, in association with Wright Football Ltd, is continuing to run it's local Football Development Centre at The Mandeville Sports College in Aylesbury.
The Development Centres provide an opportunity for children to receive experienced coaching from qualified staff. Inter Development Centre matches will be arranged during School holidays to monitor progress and those players reaching the required standards have the opportunity to join Wycombe Wanderers Centre of Excellence.

The dates for our April and June 2008 Development Centres are now available. They will again be held on a Monday evening on the Mandeville School Sports Field. Sessions for Under 7 to Under 12 age groups are available. For and application form, please click on the relevant age group below.

Inter Development Centre Small Sided Matches
As part of our Development Centre courses, we arrange for those taking part to play as a team against the Centres from Wycombe. On Wednesday 9th April 2008, we took six of our players to the Cressex Astro Turf to compete with the Wycombe Under 9 and Under 10 age groups.
Tommy Burge, Harry Studd, Cian Banert, Paul Hubbard, Antonio Belardo and Matthew Wigglesworth, all took part in 20 minute matches, refereed and organised by Kirk Williams, who is Director of the Centre of Excellence at Wycombe Wanderers.
All the boys did themselves and their watching parents proud. Although tired, all enjoyed the experience and had good feedback from the coaches involved.
The next Inter Development Centre Games will be be during the October Half Term due to Wycombe closing their Centres for the Summer. Ours will continue through out the School Summer Term.
Swan Pool Leisure Centre, Buckingam - New Development Centre!
We are to begin our Development Centres for Wycombe Wanderers in Buckingham for the Under 7, 8, 9 and 10 age group on a Saturday morning. Please check back for dates and times.
