Aylesbury FC Football & Education Studies Academy
Aylesbury FC and Mandeville School Specialist Sports College have formed a partnership to offer 16-19 year olds a complete Sporting and Football Education. The students will study over two years all the courses and qualifications listed below, as well as playing competitive matches in selected Leagues.
This is an excellent opportunity for any person that is interested in pursuing a career in football but can also provide opportunities in any sport and enable successful students to go on to further studies at University. The progress of all students will be closely monitored by Aylesbury FC and any individual demonstrating the necessary abilities will have the opportunity to play for the Club’s Youth Team with the possibility of progressing to the 1st team.
Students accepted on this course will study the following courses:
1st Year (Year 12)
- Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football
- NVQ Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football
- Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid
- Level 2 Certificate in First Aid for Sport
- BTEC National Certificate in Sport (Level 2/3)
2nd Year (Year 13)
