Sports Aids for Schools
Sports Aid for Schools is a service that we provide in order to assist Primary Schools with their sporting content.
The service can be used as a form of developing key motor skills for boys and girls in Reception and Key Stage 1 or to enhance the skills of children in Key Stage 2 to strengthen their ability during sports specific activities.
We are currently coming to the end of our 'Going Up Club' project, in conjunction with The Mandeville School. In it's 3rd year, Mandeville's feeder schools, Ashmead Combined and Oak Green combine additional numeracy and literacy sessions mixed with Multi Skill activities to provide Year 6 pupils to prepare for the step up to Secondary School.
Other Schools have also taken advantage of our organised Sports Days that we provide. Turnfurlong Junior, Cheddington Combined and more recently, Twyford CE, have all been provided with fun days that include a mix of different sporting activities, such as cricket, basketball and hockey. The session's finale is a Pentathlon Event that includes all the activities practiced plus others that will test the balance, agility and co-ordination of all participants.
